Experience the latest innovation from Gaerne's Research and Development Team with the "MTB 2DENSITY SOLE". A unique sole created specifically for Mountain Bike enthusiasts. Combining nylon and fiberglass, this sole is both durable and lightweight, with a thin design. The tread is expertly crafted for maximum grip and stability, and excels on different types of terrain. Two front studs can be removed for added traction on variable and muddy trails. With a weight of only 442 g (US 9), these shoes are perfect for any rider.
Utilizing G.active airflow microfibre and Gore-Tex® Duratherm®, the upper provides the perfect balance of breathability, impermeability, and thermal insulation, even in extreme cold weather. The elasticized, water-repellant collar is adjustable for maximum insulation, while the rear loop allows for easy fit. In addition, reflex inserts enhance safety in low visibility conditions, and the tip and side areas feature anti-abrasion reinforcements.
The midsole of the Gaerne Ice storm Gore-Tex MTB Shoe features thermo reflective aluminum for enhanced insulation. This layer forms a thermal barrier between the sole and upper, keeping the foot warm and dry. The heel is designed with anti-slip properties and anatomical shaping, while the closure system utilizes the BOA Fit System with the IP-1 dial platform for a quick, precise, and uniform fit across the entire front of the shoe.
The inner sole is anatomically designed with support in the tarsal area to optimize comfort and maximize efficiency during pedaling.
